Privacy Policy

Last updated: 18 July 2026

This policy explains how Abrodio collects, uses and protects your personal information when you use our website and services. Abrodio is operated by INDIA2UK EDUBRIDGE LIMITED, which is the data controller for the personal information described in this policy.

1. Who we are

Abrodio is operated by INDIA2UK EDUBRIDGE LIMITED, a private limited company registered in England and Wales.

  • Company number: 16802145
  • Correspondence address: G16, Copthall House, King Street, Nelson Place, Newcastle under Lyme, ST5 1EL
  • Contact: team@i2uedubridge.co.uk

2. Information we collect

We collect the following information:

  • Account information — your name, email address and password when you create an account. Passwords are handled by our authentication provider (Supabase) and are never visible to us in plain text. A phone number is not required to create an account.
  • Profile and activity data — information you choose to add to your profile, courses and universities you shortlist or compare, and jobs you view or save.
  • Community content — posts, replies, reactions, reports and feedback you submit to the Abrodio Community. Community content may be visible to other users.
  • Enquiry information — your name, email address, optional phone number and the content of your message when you contact us or submit an enquiry.
  • Usage information — first-party analytics events such as pages viewed and features used, linked to your account when you are signed in. Anonymous visits are counted without any cookie or browser identifier (see our Cookie Policy). We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
  • Technical logs — standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) generated when you use the site, used for security and reliability.

3. How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • Provide and operate Abrodio — accounts, shortlists, course and university discovery, job search, and the Community (performance of a contract).
  • Respond to your enquiries and support requests (legitimate interests, or consent where you have ticked the enquiry contact checkbox).
  • Send you student updates, opportunities and service information by email or WhatsApp only if you have opted in. You can opt out at any time (consent).
  • Keep the platform safe — moderation of community content, abuse prevention, rate limiting and security monitoring (legitimate interests and legal obligations).
  • Understand how Abrodio is used and improve it, using first-party, privacy-respecting analytics (legitimate interests).

4. Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with:

  • Service providers who host and run Abrodio for us — including our hosting provider and Supabase (database and authentication). They process data on our instructions.
  • Third-party job boards — job search queries (such as keywords and location) are sent to job data providers to return listings. Applying for a job takes you to the original job board or employer site, whose own privacy policy applies.
  • Authorities — where we are required to by law, or to protect Abrodio and its users.

5. International transfers

Some of our service providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as UK adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses.

6. How long we keep information

  • Account data — for as long as your account is active.
  • Community content — while it remains published; content removed under moderation may be retained for moderation and audit purposes.
  • Enquiries — for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards.
  • Analytics — no analytics identifiers are stored in your browser; events are kept as internal usage records.

7. Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct inaccurate information.
  • Ask us to delete your information.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing.
  • Receive a copy of your information in a portable format.
  • Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent (for example, marketing messages).

To exercise any of these rights, email team@i2uedubridge.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

8. Age of users

Abrodio is intended for users aged 16 or over. Users aged 13 to 15 should only use Abrodio with the involvement of a parent or guardian. Abrodio is not intended for children under 13.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post any changes on this page and, for significant changes, tell you through the service or by email.
