Information Sources and Data Policy

University profiles are compiled from publicly available information, prioritising each university’s official website. This includes details such as location, intakes, indicative fees, scholarships and English language requirements.

Course information — including tuition fees, duration, intake months and entry and English requirements — is compiled from official university course pages. Figures shown are indicative and are intended to help you compare and shortlist, not to serve as a binding quote.

Job adverts are gathered from established third-party job sites. The sources currently used are Reed, Adzuna, Jooble and CV-Library. Abrodio does not employ the advertisers or manage their vacancies; every application is completed on the original advert or job board, not on Abrodio.

Where a job shows a “sponsor-licensed employer” indicator, it means the employer’s name appears on the UK Government’s public register of licensed sponsors. This is an aid, not a guarantee:

• It reflects a name match against the official public register at the time of checking, and employer names can be ambiguous or change.
• It does not mean the specific advertised role comes with visa sponsorship.
• Always confirm sponsorship directly with the employer, and check the current register on GOV.UK.

Keep a clear distinction in mind: directory data (universities, courses, jobs) is drawn from official and third-party providers, whereas Community posts are personal experience shared by users. Community content can be helpful context but is not an authoritative source and is not verified by Abrodio.

When information could come from more than one place, we prioritise in this order:

• The official primary source (the university, the employer, or the relevant UK Government body such as GOV.UK).
• The established third-party provider that supplied the listing.
• General reference information.
• Community experience — as context only, never as the authoritative answer.

External information changes constantly. Fees, intakes, entry requirements, sponsorship status and job availability can be updated or withdrawn by the provider at any time, and our copy may lag the source between refreshes. Before you rely on any detail for a decision, confirm it with the original provider — the university, the employer or the job board.
