Sponsor Check — Is an Employer on the UK Sponsor Register?

Check whether an employer appears on the GOV.UK register of licensed sponsors for workers.

Employer lookup unavailable

Abrodio’s copy of the register hasn’t been loaded yet. Abrodio can’t confirm an employer’s sponsor status right now. Check the official register on GOV.UK instead.

Open the GOV.UK register

Open “Register of licensed sponsors: workers” and download the latest file.
Search for the employer’s legal name — it can differ from the name in a job advert.
Check the route listed (for example Skilled Worker) and the rating.

What a sponsor licence means

A licence means the employer is allowed to sponsor some workers on the routes listed.
It does not mean a particular job offers sponsorship, or that you would qualify.
Only the employer can confirm whether a role can be sponsored — ask them before you rely on it.
